Overview

A two-day course providing an introduction to road safety engineering and road safety audit for staff seeking to understand the principles of this area of work.

Aims and Objectives

The aim of the course is to help professionals understand the concepts and procedures for investigating road collisions, designing cost-effective road safety engineering schemes and carrying out road safety audits.  The course will also help to clarify some of the legal issues associated with road collisions / crashes and help to reduce potential liabilities in this area of work.

Certification

Delegates completing this course will receive a CPD certificate of attendance, recognised by both the IHE and CIHT. This course enables delegates to maintain their CPD requirements for Road Safety Audit in accordance with HD 19/15.
