2019 – TMS Exhibit at the 2019 RoSPA Road Safety Conference

TMS has consistently had an exhibiting presence at the annual RoSPA Road Safety Conference.  For 2019, the conference was held on 13th February at Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham.  The focus for this year’s conference was making roads safer for vulnerable road users.

The conference discussed what policies and practical initiatives can be implemented to protect Britain’s most vulnerable road users. Key policy makers, leading academics and practitioners delivered their presentations to discuss a variety of topics on the following subject areas:

  • Car Seat Regulations
  • Working together for more and safer active travel
  • Vision Zero for London
  • Dangerous Roads/Vehicles/Speeds and Road Users
  • Cycling and Walking Investment Strategy Safety Review
  • Cycle Training and Bikeability
  • UK’s Vision for Cycling
  • Pedestrian Training
  • Car/Motorcyclist/Pedestrian Collisions
  • Safe and Active at all ages

During the conference, Lorna and Jan spoke to a wide variety of the delegates who were from a diverse range of organisations within the road safety industry, ranging from Local Highway Authorities to private consultants and Fire and Rescue Services.
