Lee Williams

Lee joined TMS in 2019. Prior to this he worked for 15 years in Warwickshire County Council and was the Principal Road Safety Engineer. His role involved managing the casualty reduction scheme budget and programme of works, including collision analysis and selecting schemes to address high collision routes and cluster sites.
Additional to the role, Lee also managed the in-house Road Safety Audit Team, where he was involved with delegation of work, staff supervision and training, including running staff seminars for GG 119. Lee led devising and writing WCC’s audit procedure and initiating Warwickshire’s new passive safety policy. Lee has many years of collision investigation and was responsible for carrying out fatal post-crash audits with Warwickshire Police, including acting as an expert witness to represent WCC at Coroner’s Inquest. Lee’s latest projects included Initiating Warwickshire’s first average speed camera routes and casualty reduction scheme cycle routes.
Lee now works for TMS as Principal Engineer, involved with road safety audits, risk assessments, collision investigation and is looking to be involved with training in the future.
