Samaritans' Brew Monday 2024
We are pleased to have held another Samaritans’ Brew Monday event in support of our Director, Richard Cook , who volunteers at the Solihull Samaritans’ Branch. This was in aid of getting rid of the ‘Blue Monday’ stigma, where the the third Monday of January is considered to be the most depressing time of the year. We instead filled our time with a challenging and fun quiz, alongside a yummy buffet! We had supporters around the Business Innovation Centre (BIC) such as the people of TalentTech Recruitment and Reciteworks.com by 4cite Labs.
The quiz consisted of events that happened during 2023, ranging from film releases to sports events that occurred. Everyone brought their ‘A game’ for the quiz, with the winners only having won the quiz by one point!
The winners ended up being the Team “Backrow” who consisted of Allison (BIC), Julie, Jan Alcock (TMS) and Francis Jr Asigurado (TMS). They won a sweet and chocolate assortment which they shared with everyone!
TMS and the other businesses around the BIC raised over £290 for the charity! Which will be a great help for the continued work of the Samaritan Solihull Branch. We would like to thank the Business Innovation Centre, Binley for providing the space for our event.
