This two-day course offers a useful introduction to the work that goes on in a Transportation Department and the policy background for people new to this area.

Aims and Objectives

The aim of the course is to help professionals understand the policies, concepts and procedures for transport planning, traffic management and road safety work.  The course will help clarify some of the legal issues associated with these work areas and help to reduce potential liabilities.
