Restraint Systems & Passive Safety

Course Overview

A one-day course to introduce delegates to run off road collisions, road restraint systems, and passive safety devices.

This course will be useful for both road safety audit and design staff working on schemes that require restraint systems due to the nature of the alignment and speed of the road.

Aims and Objectives

The aim of this course is to introduce the scale of the run off road safety problem, to describe the road restraint standards and to advise on passive safety guidance.

Certification

Delegates completing this course will receive a CPD certificate of attendance, recognised by both the IHE and CIHT.
