The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) recently celebrated its Centenary with a garden party at Buckingham Palace hosted by Prince Andrew. TMS Director Steve Proctor was invited to attend in recognition of the work TMS has undertaken with RoSPA for over 25 years.
Throughout that time TMS has run the RoSPA 10 day Road Safety Engineering Course, which provides the training requirement specified by Highways England for Road Safety auditors in the UK. In addition to the 10 day course, TMS also runs a two day Advanced Road Safety Engineering course, and a two day “Keeping up to Date with Road Safety Engineering” refresher course.
TMS also undertakes safety assessment consultancy work on behalf of RoSPA, including a recent review of road safety on the island of St Kilda in the western Hebrides.
The celebrations at Buckingham Palace took place on a beautiful warm day in May as our photo of Steve in the Palace garden shows!
